Application Example:
To use receiver for audio, and also be able to bypass receiver for video, you can use this unit by adding the ViewHD 3D 1x2 Splitter behind it, so one splitter output goes to receiver to provide the surround sound, and the other splitter output to the 3D TV, to get the best video and audio signals at the same time. It is particularly useful for buyers looking for surround sound, but with a receiver that can't support 3D or HDMI 1.3.
