The system consists of an audio-video receiver coupled with a single-disc DVD-video player, a five-channel speaker package, and a powered subwoofer. The DVD player accommodates standard disc formats, including CD-R, CD-RW, MP3-CD, and DVD-Video. DVD functions include resume and memory play (great when you're listening to CDs), A-B play (for looping a segment), parental locks, picture zoom, eight-grade fast or slow motion, and nine-picture +ACI-strobe+ACI- viewing. The player handles either NTSC or PAL video conversion, compatible with non-region-encoded DVDs from overseas.
